. We were on our way to Malaysia according to my mission. According to the memorandum of central banking institutions between two countries and for more interactions and getting more experienced, managers travel to each other’s countries. In this trip, I had interesting memories, which I am going to explain. According to pre set plans in this trip, we visited different banks of Malaysia and had meeting with their seniors. One day we went to the headquarters of Malaysia (MAY bank), which is the first in both position and history. Seniors including the CEO welcomed the Iranian commission. The CEO mentioned that they celebrated fifty years anniversary of their bank a few days ago. Therefore, we profited the opportunity and congratulated. It was time to introduce the commission members. As I introduced myself and they heard the name of Melli bank, they repeated: «oh Melli bank, the big bank, the big bank. » I thought TV trailers «the greatest bank of Islamic world» reached here. The interesting point is when other members introduced themselves they were asked as if are they from Melli bank? Introducing their banks, they explained that they are from other banks. When they saw my visit card, they mentioned to my colleagues: you see. Even Melli bank visit cards do differ from yours and are of high quality. In these meetings Malaysia’s bank CEOs reported on their operations by power point. For example, mentioning their operation in last year and their progress from 20th rank to 18th. They all mentioned Iran’s Melli bank is always in first rank. As an Iran’s Melli bank staff, I was so proud hearing these. I thought how hard our ancestors tried to get to this point of dignity and respect. Now we the current staff of the bank have a great mission to protect, progress, and stand on our dignity.
